Project Launch: DefLeppard.com

Catchon Media had the extremely awesome opportunity to work on the official website for Def Leppard. Over the last few months, we worked to develop a solution that was not only scalable in terms of content volume and traffic, but also to establish a community section that would allow for extra features to engage fans.

Managed and designed by the immensely talented folks at The Aardvark Brigade, from the early stages of discussions for the project, we knew that the site was going to be both challenging and rewarding. Def Leppard has a content library that spans over five decades, including albums, tours, photos, and videos. A solution was needed to present this content naturally to each visitor, and the infrastructure was needed to handle hundreds of thousands of visits a month.

When all was said and done, defleppard.com was birthed, and the immediate response from the community is extremely positive, made ever so evident by the amount of community-contributed content, in addition to the daily traffic the site has been receiving.
